I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I graduated with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Trinity Western University (2008). Since then, I have practiced as a therapist in a variety of therapeutic settings, including schools, non-profit community services, and other private practice locations.

Our life stories are unique and layered. Even so, common themes can be found within our narratives: themes of pain, stuckness, and disconnection, but also ones of resilience, courage, and beauty. I consider therapy to be a creative process, and my hope is to journey alongside you as you deepen your sense of who you are, of how you feel, and of ways in which you want to grow, and as you further cultivate your connection with yourself and with others around you.

Engaging from a relationally-centered, attachment-based, trauma-informed lens of care, I consider it a privilege to walk alongside adult individual and couples/relationship clients. I seek to create an atmosphere that feels safe, compassionate, and attentive, in which you are invited to come with all parts of your story. I am drawn towards therapeutic approaches that foster hope, compassion, and curiosity.  I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) as my primary modality, but I also incorporate other modalities that I’ve trained in and been influenced by.

Professional Training includes:

  • Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) for Individuals with Trauma

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for Couples, Level 1

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for Couples, Level 2

  • Gottman Couples Therapy, Level 1

  • Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Level 1

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Basic Training

  • Live Online Mindful Self-Compassion (LOMSC)

  • Narrative Therapy, Foundations 1
