I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. I graduated with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Trinity Western University (2008). I have practiced as a RCC in a variety of therapeutic settings, including schools, non-profit community services, and other private practice locations.
I engage in the therapeutic process from an attachment-based, relationally-centred, trauma-informed foundation. My aim is to support the wisdom and the well-being of the whole person as clients strengthen their ability to recognize and to honour their own internal awareness, balance, and courage. As such, I am drawn towards therapeutic approaches that foster compassion, mindfulness, and embodiment as a part of connection. My professional training includes Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
